The “winter” weather in LA is in the high 80s and I had the chance to enjoy it last week as the official red carpet correspondent for the annual Essence Black Women in Music event, on behalf of African Pride and The Cut Life.
I was honored to interview so many dynamic women (and men) in music and film, including Jazmine Sullivan, Tweet, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Trevor Jackson, George Clinton, Christina Milian and more.
The Avalon Theater in Hollywood was filled to capacity as the Grammy nominated Jazmine Sullivan and Andra Day performed live leaving us all in awe. Watch the full video of the interviews below…
